Order processing times

Due to an exceptional surge in orders, the preparation time is temporarily extended by 2 to 4 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). Our teams are working hard to ship every order as quickly as possible.

Professional orders

An additional delay may apply, especially during periods of high demand.

Inventory period (1st week of April)

Shipments are suspended. Dispatch resumes once the inventory is completed. Please allow an additional delay of approximately 1.5 weeks.

Peak periods

(end of year, commercial events, promotions…) The preparation time may be extended in the following situations:

  • significant increase in order volume (as is currently the case),
  • commercial events (Black Friday, Christmas, Sales…),

Delivery times

  • For standard DPD or Colissimo deliveries, the average delivery time observed is 24–48 hours (France only).
  • For professional deliveries (Schenker/DPD), please allow a significantly longer timeframe, which may take up to 1 week.
  • Please note that these delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed.
  • Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, disruptions in carrier services, public holidays, or any incident related to the transport process.

1 - Shipping rates in Mainland France

  • COLISSIMO Pickup Point: €4.90 incl. VAT – flat rate
  • COLISSIMO Home Delivery: €6.50 incl. VAT – flat rate
  • DPD Pickup Relay: €4.90 incl. VAT – flat rate
  • DPD Predict: €5.90 incl. VAT – signature on delivery – flat rate
  • COLISSIMO Home Delivery with Signature: rate based on the weight of the parcel (please perform an online order simulation to obtain the amount).

Permanent offer:FREE DELIVERY from €49 incl. VAT via DPD or Colissimo Pickup Points (Mainland France & excluding professional accounts).

Please note that occasional promotions such as "Happy Hour" (free shipping with no minimum purchase, for example) may be offered. Information and usage conditions will be displayed on the website.

Customs duties and import taxes:
For deliveries outside the European Union, your order may be subject to customs duties, local taxes, or customs processing fees. These additional charges are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid directly to the customs authorities or the carrier.

3.1 Shipping Disruptions Information

Certain destinations may be subject to temporary restrictions, suspension of shipments, or extended delivery times depending on decisions made by the carriers.

  • ⚠️ Current suspensions: shipments to Russia, Belarus, and certain international zones (including Canada, depending on the period) may be interrupted or limited by carriers.
  • These measures depend on international postal and logistics services and are updated regularly.

4 - Shipping rates for professional customers and retailers

Shipping fees are calculated according to the weight of the parcel.

Free shipping thresholds:

  • France: from €350 (excluding VAT)
  • Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands: from €1050 (excluding VAT)
  • Austria, Spain, and Italy: from €1200 (excluding VAT)
  • Other destinations: no free shipping

The choice of carrier is determined internally based on the weight and volume of the parcel (Colissimo, DPD, or Schenker pallet delivery).

Shipping confirmation and order tracking

Once your order has been handed over to the carrier, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. This email will include your tracking number and a link to track your parcel, when available.

You can also check the status of your order:

  • via your ScrapCooking customer account, if you have one;
  • or via the guest order tracking if you placed your order without creating an account.

⚠️ Some delivery methods do not provide detailed tracking. In such cases, tracking information may be limited or unavailable.

Delivery issue

  • If an incorrect delivery address is provided or if the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery, the order may be delayed or cancelled.
  • In the event of a failed delivery attempt, the carrier may leave a paper or digital delivery notice (email / SMS) with instructions on how to retrieve your parcel.

Partial shipment

  • If some items in your order are out of stock, you may request to delay the shipment until all products are available.
  • In the case of a partial delivery, we will refund the missing product(s) and notify you by email.
  • We do not manage backorders. Each order is shipped in a single parcel (complete or partial).
  • You will be informed of any changes regarding your delivery by email.

Damage during delivery

  • We strive to ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition. If you receive a damaged parcel, please contact our customer service team immediately and provide photos showing the condition of your package.
  • Keep all packaging materials and damaged items for possible inspection.
  • Please note: you are entitled to refuse the parcel if it arrives in poor condition. Remember to make the appropriate reservations when receiving your parcel to facilitate the return process.
