Silicone molds
Our molds are made from platinum silicone, a material renowned for its heat resistance, stability, and durability. They move effortlessly from freezer to oven while retaining their shape and performance.
Two catalysts can be used to manufacture silicone molds: peroxide or platinum. Unlike peroxide-cured silicone—more common but also more economical—platinum-cured silicone is vulcanised with platinum, a noble metal that offers key advantages for food safety. Peroxide is less chemically stable than platinum and can release unwanted particles into food. In addition, platinum silicone provides greater heat resistance and longer life over time.
Our molds comply with European food-contact regulations (EC 1935/2004) and French standards (Order of 25 November 1992 on silicone-elastomer materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs), guaranteeing safe use in the kitchen.
