Storage: In unopened packaging, away from light, heat and moisture.
How to use: To protect your sugar pieces from ambient humidity, place a sufficient quantity of calcium chloride in a container next to the sugar piece.
Cover with an absorbent sheet (such as greaseproof paper) to avoid contact with food products. Regularly remove the hard layer forming on the surface of the container (a layer that has lost its absorbency) and stir up the chloride flakes underneath, as these can still be used.
CAUTION: Never bring calcium chloride directly into contact with foodstuffs. Do not incorporate calcium chloride into sugar parts.
